MEET CHRIS FROM PING-PONG

The story of how Chris and I met ends with a tower of 40 or so upside down shot glasses! Chris is a true Mixologist! He believes guest should be treated to new and different experiences. Handcrafting drinks from scratch and a passion for what he does is a skill that seperates him from the pack. Chris bartend's at Ping Pong in DuPont Circle. He's been there since July 2012. He works Sun afternoon, Monday Afternoon, Thursday - Saturday Nights.

BTB: What's your favorite drink to make?

Chris: My favorite drink to make are Manhattan's I have several ways of making them.

BTB: What's the craziest thing you've seen Bartending?

Chris: Other than the full on make out session at the bar. There was a bar fight that broke out at a night club and this guy hitting someone with a giant sized magnum champagne bottle.

BTB: What advice would you give someone interested in becoming a Bartender?

Chris: To learn and respect the craft, but above all else make sure your guest have a great time.

BTB: Where do you to drink when you're off?

Chris: After work I like going to Marvin's, Firefly, Smoke n Barrel, Brixton to name a
few.  The great thing about DC there are so many great spots get a drink or two.
